This historic march has been planned by student groups in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties and will be the largest student organized event in Maryland’s recent history.

The event is part of a number of statewide events leading up the November elections. The last event held on July 19, saw over a hundred DREAM students marching in the city of Baltimore.

"We are building a movement," said Claudia Quiñones, a student leader from CASA de Maryland’s Youth Committee. "Every day our mission is to recruit Maryland youth impacted by the immigration crisis and to continue our fight for justice."
